Before sometime you have heard the news of location tracking via iPhone. How silly it was that you were being traced with your personal iPhone. This thing could have ruined the Apple’s image in whole of the world. These days Apple iPhone is ranked number one in smartphones industry.
Before anything bad happens Apple has released the software update that fixes the problem of location tracking. The CEO of Apple Steve Jobs fulfilled his promise of resolving the issue that has astonished so many Apple’s consumers.
Company said:
“The update that the software fix reduces the size of the location storage ensures that the device no longer backs the location information in iTunes, and enables the iPhone or iPad to stop collecting data when Location Services is turned off”.
It is to be noted that the latest software release was 4.3.2 and it is updated and now Apple has released IOS 4.3.3. Apple has again assured people that it was not tracking the location of people but it was actually the “crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower database”.
Hopefully the issue of tracking will be resolved and the people will use their favorite iPhone as they use it before. Apple always releases its latest software update when it feels that users need it and when the older version starts creating problems. The issue of location tracking with iPhone is very serious and if Apple takes it forsake then it must have created problems for the company. If you see every mobile manufacturing company like HTC, Nokia, Samsung all are the competitors of Apple and they surely don’t take this major problem of iPhone for granted.
Now iPhone 5 is close to release and we all are expecting IOS 5 in it. Apple will hopefully launch the latest IOS version without any problems.
